Any references to such content are purely for **educational and informational purposes**, ensuring compliance with intellectual property laws.
3.3 Copyright Protection for PrepMode Content
All test questions, study materials, and educational resources **created by PrepMode** are protected under copyright law. Users may not copy, distribute, modify, or use these materials for **commercial purposes** without prior written consent. Legal action may be taken against violators under the **Copyright Act, 1957**.
4. Partner and Expert Responsibilities
4.1 Expert Responsibility
All data provided by experts on their profiles, including resumes, posted questions, answers, blog content, or any other materials, are the sole responsibility of the expert. PrepMode does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for any content uploaded by experts. Experts are liable for the accuracy and legitimacy of their shared information.
4.2 Partner Responsibility
All information provided on partner profiles, including but not limited to **internships, blogs, forum discussions, test-prep courses, exam-prep courses, admission consulting services, and financial offerings** from financial partners, is the sole responsibility of the respective partners. PrepMode does not verify or guarantee the authenticity of such information, and any discrepancies must be resolved directly between the user and the associated partner.
5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
Users must comply with Indian cyber laws and regulations, including the **Information Technology Act, 2000**. Any activity that disrupts platform functionality, violates intellectual property rights, or breaches data protection norms will result in **account suspension and legal action**.
Prohibited activities include :
• Copying, redistributing, or republishing PrepMode’s proprietary content.
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or tools to extract data from PrepMode.
• Engaging in cyber fraud, identity theft, or creating multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.
• Posting, sharing, or distributing offensive, defamatory, or illegal content on discussion forums.
• Attempting unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or platform features.
6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
6.1 Subscription Services
Certain features on PrepMode require a **paid subscription**. Users are responsible for reviewing the pricing and features before purchasing any service.
6.2 Refund Policy
As per the **Consumer Protection Act, 2019**, refund requests can be made within **7 days of purchase**. Refunds will only be processed if the user has not extensively accessed the premium content. PrepMode reserves the right to reject refund requests that violate fair usage policies.
